Hamriyah Free Zone Authority was established in November 12, 1995. Its location (in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates) gives the free zone a unique geographic and time zone advantage. Fully convertible currency, multi-access to neighboring and global countries, strategic location between all continents through land, sea and air are a great superiority among others. Hamriyah companies are suitable for those who:
– need UAE company which can conduct business within UAE and to work with other companies registered in UAE;
– need 5-8 resident visas
Types of Companies:
Free Zone Entity (FZE) – 1 shareholder;
Free Zone Company – 2-5 shareholders;
Branch Company – branch of existing company.
Capital Amount:
not required for companies with office facilities. When leasing Warehouse facility or Land the minimum capital required is AED 150,000/ USD 41,000.
License Type:
1. Industrial License
Allows the holder to import raw materials for the purpose of manufacturing/processing/assembly of specified products. Finished products are not allowed to be sold in the UAE local market. The Licensee should do this through a local distributor or a local agent only.
2. Commercial License
Allow the holder to import/export/sell/distribute/store products (items) specified on the license within the Hamriyah Free Zone only. Finished products are not allowed to be sold in the UAE local market. The Licensee should do this through a local distributor or a local agent only.
3. Service License
Allows the holder to provide any services specified on the license within the Hamriyah Free Zone only.
Requirements for Shareholder/Director:
there are no requirements for the residency/citizenship of the shareholder/director. Foreign corporate shareholder is allowed. Corporate director is prohibited.
Visas:
E-Office companies are entitled for 4 visas for Commercial & Service License companies and 5 visas for companies’ holding General Trading License. Companies with actual offices are entitled for 5-6 visas (depends on the office’s size) for Commercial & Service License and 5-8 visas for companies’ holding General Trading. The first visa in Hamriah Free Zone should be applied only for the person whose name is mentioned in the Trade License. Age limitation for applying Employment Visa is from 18 to 60 years. However, special approval can be obtained. Attested Educational Certificate is a must for applying Employment Visa for ladies, professional categories, managerial positions, some nationalities and profession.
